    FAQS ABOUT COMPOSITE DECKING
HOW DO I CLEAN COMPOSITE DECKING?
Maintaining your composite deck is crucial to ensuring it is long-lasting and can function the way it is intended.  Cleaning composite decking is fairly simple. All you’ll need is warm soapy water and a soft-bristled brush (or pressure sprayer).  Use the soapy water and brush to lift off any grime or dirt, and hose off the by-product. Be sure to dry the deck during winter seasons to prevent it from freezing.
WHAT IS COMPOSITE DECKING MADE OF?
Most composite decking is made by blending plastic and wood fibres to give you a strong material for creating a deck. Both materials are often recycled, making composite decking an environmentally friendly option.  Colour pigmentation is also used to create a variety of shades and UV inhibitors, which prevent fading from UV exposure.
HOW LONG DOES COMPOSITE DECKING LAST?
Provided you keep your deck clean and well-maintained, a composite deck can last up to 25 or even 30 years. This makes it a fantastic long-term solution for building an external deck in your garden.
